XEGENCenk is a recognized expert in gene and cell therapy manufacturing and automation, working closely with cell therapy developers to support strategic consulting and clinical manufacturing while serving as a technical and business development leader in industry. Cenk had previously served as the Director of Business Development for the BioProduction Division at ThermoFisher, leading global innovation partnerships. He currently serves on the Publication Committee at ASGCT and has taught immunology for over a decade to engineering students at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Cenk earned his BS in Biology at MIT and his PhD in Microbiology & Immunology at Stanford University, completing post-doctoral studies in intravital imaging at Harvard Medical School and cancer immunology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center with Nobel laureate Jim Allison.
